Use Numtrace Responsibly

1. Introduction

Welcome to Numtrace ("we", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Numtrace. By accessing or using our website, lookups, subscriptions, trials, or any related features (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 18 years old and comply with applicable laws. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

2. Services

Numtrace provides people-search tools, including lookups by full name, phone, email, and address, with optional related context (e.g., locations, public profiles). Results aggregate publicly available sources and licensed providers; availability and accuracy may vary by query and region.

The Services are for personal informational use only and are not intended for regulated or high-stakes decisions. We may change features, availability, or pricing at any time.

3. No FCRA Use

Numtrace is not a consumer reporting agency. You must not use the Services for decisions covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) or similar laws (e.g., employment, tenant, credit, insurance, or any eligibility screening).

4. Accounts & Access

Access may require a valid email and secure login method (e.g., magic links). Keep your email secure and do not share access. You are responsible for activities under your account. Notify us of suspected unauthorized access immediately.

5. Subscriptions, Trials, Credits

• Trials: Trials may include limited credits and convert to a recurring plan unless canceled per offer terms shown at checkout and in confirmation emails.
• Subscriptions: Plans grant periodic lookup credits (e.g., weekly or monthly). Unused credits may roll over up to a maximum balance disclosed at purchase.
• One‑time credits: You may purchase additional credit packs that remain until used.

We disclose pricing and renewal details at checkout. You authorize recurring charges until you cancel. You can manage or cancel from your account or by contacting support before the next renewal.

6. Billing, Refunds, Chargebacks

Charges are billed to your selected payment method. Taxes may apply. Except where required by law or stated in an offer, payments are non‑refundable. Contact support for billing questions before disputing a charge; unauthorized chargebacks may result in account limits.

7. Acceptable Use

• Use the Services only for lawful, personal, informational purposes.
• Do not stalk, harass, dox, or otherwise harm individuals.
• Do not attempt to circumvent security or scrape at scale without permission.
• Do not use the Services for identity verification, real‑time tracking, device monitoring, or accessing private accounts.
• Do not reverse engineer or misuse our data or systems.

8. Data Sources & Disclaimers

We compile public and licensed data (OSINT and partner sources). Results may be incomplete, outdated, or unavailable. You should independently verify information before relying on it. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, software, and data structures are owned by Numtrace or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to use the Services for personal purposes.

10. Third‑Party Services

We may link to or integrate third‑party services. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of third‑party services is governed by their terms.

11. Warranty Disclaimer

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error‑free operation or that results will meet your needs.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Numtrace and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost profits, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for claims arising out of or related to the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid in the 3 months before the claim or USD $50.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Numtrace and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or violation of applicable laws or third‑party rights.

14. Governing Law; Disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law in your jurisdiction of residence unless otherwise required by law. Where permitted, disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts (or arbitration forum, if agreed) of the applicable venue, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

15. Arbitration; Class Action Waiver

Where allowed by law, disputes arising from these Terms or the Services may be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis. You waive the right to participate in any class, collective, consolidated, or representative action. If a waiver is unenforceable in a jurisdiction, remaining provisions shall continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted.

16. Changes to the Services and Terms

We may modify the Services or these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting or notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, you should stop using the Services.

17. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, abuse, non‑payment, or as required by law. You may stop using the Services at any time; sections that by their nature should survive will continue to apply.
